Motorola Droid Will Be Available Via Verizon Wireless

Verizon will release the highly anticipated Motorola Droid on November 6th, 2009 for $199 with a new two-year customer agreement after a $100 mail-in rebate. For your info, the smartphone features a Cortex A8 processor with a 16GB of memory, a 3.7-inch LCD display, a 5MP digicam, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, and Google Android 2.0 OS. The Motorola Droid is currently available for pre-order at the Verizon website.

Motorola Milestone For Folks In Europe

Here is good news for those who are living in Erope, because Motorola has rolled out the Motorola Milestone for the European market. This Android 2.0-powered handset provides a trial version of MOTONAV turn-by-turn navigation, which is free for the first 60 days. The phone also features a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Motorola Milestone will be available in Germany initially, and then Italy. There is no info on pricing so far. Stay tuned for more updates.
